Sloans celebrate 60 years

Bob and Wanda Sloan of Stillwater celebrated their 60th anniversary on June 30th at home with family.  

Mr. and Mrs. Sloan were married June 30, 1952, at Lost Creek Parsonage. Both are graduates of Stillwater High School.  

Shortly after marrying, he was deployed to Germany with the U.S. Army.

He worked in construction and has been a member of the Carpenters Local Union for more than 50 years.  

Wanda raised her three children. The couple has three sons, Randy of Tulsa, Scott of Parker, Colo. and Mark of Frisco, Texas.  

The couple enjoys traveling, volunteering in the community and spending time with their seven grandchildren.

They are members of Sunnybrook Christian Church.
