Frank and Dorothy “Dot” Kulling celebrate their 50th anniversary on Jan 4, 2012.
Frank and Dot were married in the Christ Lutheran Church in Oil City, Penn., on Jan. 4, 1962.
They have three children and six grandchildren: daughter Laura Mitchell and her spouse, Stephen, and children Matthew and Miranda; a son Michael, his spouse, Kristen, and children Mack and Kate; and daughter Kristin Hutcherson, her spouse, Chad, and children Madelynn and Luke.
The couple’s first home was at Glasbow Air Force Base in Montana, and their last military assignment was the Air Force ROTC detachment at Oklahoma State University.
Frank retired from the Air Force in 1980 and from The College of Education at OSU in 2007. Dot worked at the Houck Agency and retired in May 2011.
They have enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Ireland, The Holy Land, Europe and the Cayman Islands and visit family in Pennsylvania and Colorado Springs whenever possible. They also enjoy riding their recumbent tandem bicycle and walking.
They have been active members of Zion Lutheran Church since 1976 when they moved to Stillwater.
A 50th anniversary celebration vacation that will include their children, children’s spouses and grandchildren is planned for June 2012.
