Winston and Shirley (Lukenbill) King, Stillwater, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Stillwater Church of Christ fellowship hall, 821 N. Duck.
They were married Aug. 19, 1960, in Tulsa.
Their children are Jamie Sweeney and husband Patrick of Tulsa, Darren King and wife Carla of Edmond and Kelli Fraley and husband Tim of Stillwater. Their grandchildren are Erin and Emily Sweeney, Davis and Wil King and Logan, Corbin and Reagan Fraley.
The Kings were high school sweethearts and lived in Tulsa and Oklahoma City before moving to Stillwater in 1968. He retired from Oklahoma State University after 32 years of service. She retired from Tiger Drug after 20-plus years as bookkeeper.
