Terry and Ella Ruth (Zimmerman) Going, Easley, S.C., celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception hosted by their sons and their families and their church on Dec. 15.

They have three sons, Mark, Philip and David, and 10 grandchildren, two of whom are married and in the ministry.

Going was raised in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1959. Mrs. Going graduated from Carnegie High School in 1959. They met while students at Southern Nazarene University and were married by the Revs. Bob Williams and Carl Powers in Carnegie.

They have spent the past 48 years in pastoral ministry.

Mrs. Going has taught first grade, and Going has taught at Hobe Sound Bible College and now teaches online for the college, along with pastoring the Bible Methodist Church in Easley.
