Don Fisher and Joyce Price were married in Portales, N.M. on Feb. 1, 1953.
He was employed at the Phillips Chemical Carbon Black Plant in Borger, Texas until 1968 at which time he was hired as manufacturing manager of the new Swan Rubber Plant in Stillwater.
The Fishers have three children. Their son, Don Fisher Jr., and his wife, Nancy, and daughter, Molly, live in Albuquerque, N. M.
The Fishers' daughter, Dana, and her son, Connor, and daughter, Claire, live in Charlottesville, Virginia. Another daughter, Diane, is married to Jon Frank and lives in Bakersfield, Calif. The Franks have two daughters, Skylar and Lydia.
The family felt very blessed to have a special celebration together in Southern California during Christmas week with all the children and grandchildren in attendance.
