Overstreets celebrate 60 years

Charles and Dorothy Overstreet were married Oct. 30, 1953, in the First Baptist Church in Ponca City. The couple lived in Kentucky, Maryland, Iowa, California, Texas and Oklahoma. He retired as professor emeritus from Oklahoma State University in 1995.

The Overstreets enjoy traveling with trips to Europe, the Orient, South America, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico but their favorite spot is Maui, Hawaii.

They have three children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
