Bournes celebrate 65th wedding anniversary

Dee and Marilyn Bourne celebrated their 65th anniversary with a dinner with their children daughters Linda Grant and husband M.K. of Frisco, Texas; and Christie Murray and Tommy, of Ponca City.

Mr. Bourne flew as a bombardier on B-24’s in the 8th Air Force in England and completed 24 missions.

He met his wife on a blind date while at the University of Nebraska.

They were married Aug. 17, 1947.

Marilyn Bourne worked in several projects at the presbyterian church.

They have four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

They have enjoyed living in Stillwater and life with family and friends.
