Sam and Louise Kautz will celebrate their 65th anniversary. They were married on July 6, 1947, in Stillwater.
They have lived in the Oklahoma City area, Mulhall, then, their farm in Perkins where they still reside. He is retired from Tinker Air Force Base and she is a retired elementary teacher.
They are founding members of Perkins Immanuel Baptist Church. The couple has four children; David and his wife Ruby of Perkins, Stanley and his wife Derrilyn of Edmond, Michael Kautz, and Mary Cundiff and her husband Steven.
They have eight grandchildren; Tara Lavigne, Richard Kautz, Samuel and Benjamin Kautz and Skyler, Stephanie, Sabrina and Shelby Cundiff and nine great grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla and Keith Robinson, David and Christopher Lavigne, Ashley and Janelle Kautz, and Julia and Jayden Cundiff.
