Anniversaries
• Ventris
Dub and Retha Ventris will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at River of Life Church, 9404 S. Perkins Road.
They were married July 2, 1959.
They have four children, all of whom attended Perkins schools, Tom Ventris, Perkins; Terry Ventris and Angel Ventris Laurent, both of Dallas, Texas, and Tim Ventris, Watts. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They have lived in Perkins since their marriage, with a little time out to move to California. Ventris worked for Moore Business Forms until it closed and now works for Oklahoma State University. Mrs. Ventris is a homemaker and has worked numerous jobs in the community.
They are active members of River of Life Church, where Mrs. Ventris serves on the praise and worship team.
