Keys celebrate 50 years

Jim and Jean Key will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends hosted by their children Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Highland Park United Methodist Church.

He flew C-130 aircraft for the Oklahoma Air Guard and was a professor of agricultural education at Oklahoma State University.

She taught second grade at Skyline Elementary School for many years. The couple has served as faithful leaders of their home church, as volunteers in Payne County’s Court Appointed Special Advocate program, in Oklahoma’s prison systems as volunteers for KAIROS Prison Ministry and have given much time and energy to their community.

They are grandparents to Will, Sarah, Elizabeth and Laura. Jim and Jean love their home on a farm east of Stillwater.
