Watkins celebrate 60th

— James “Bud” and JoAnne Watkins will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house reception hosted by their daughters from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Crestview office, 2323 E. Sixth Ave.

 The former JoAnne Pepin married Bud Watkins on Aug. 15, 1953, in Stillwater. Bud is a lifelong mechanic and retired from Michelin in Ardmore. JoAnne is a homemaker and worked as an office manager retiring from the Ardmore Village. After raising their family in Denver, Colo. and Ardmore, the couple retired to Ft. Collins, Colo. They returned to Stillwater to continue their retirement nearer to family.

They have three children: Jana Cezeaux and husband Rod of San Antonio, Texas; Steve Watkins and wife Marie of Ardmore; and Kimberly Rieck and husband Bryan of Ardmore.

Their four grandchildren are Jason Cezeaux, Jamey Cezeaux Baker, Benjamin Rieck and Miranda Guzman.

Their five great-grandchildren are Claire, Madeleine and James Cezeaux, along with Cristian and Sebastian Guzman.

The Watkins also enjoy the company of their surviving siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
