Stillwater Chamber Singers: March 9 - St. John’s Episcopal Church - 8 p.m. The Stillwater Chamber Singers, under the direction of Mark Lawlor, and the Stillwater Chamber Players, Laura Talbott director, featuring Cynthia Cortright playing continuo will perform Lenten and Easter music of the Renaissance and Baroque era. This 70 minute concert is free and open to the public due in part to a generous grant from the Albert and Esther Epstein Concert Series Fund. Information: 744-6092.



Storytime in Spanish: March 10 - El Jacal Mexican Store - 7 p.m. Spanish storytime including stories, songs, finger plays and action rhymes and crafts. Supervising adults are requested to accompany their children. Sponsored by Stillwater Public Library and Siga Adelante. Information: 372-3633.

Red Cross First Aid Class: March 11 - American Red Cross - 6-9:30 p.m. In first aid, people learn life saving skills such as how to care for bleeding, burns, shock, stroke, seizures, poisons, heat and cold emergencies and much more. Cost is $25. Information: 372-1833.



Let’s Talk About It Book and Discussion: “Meridian”: March 11 - Stillwater Public Library, room 309 - 6:30 p.m. Lynne Simpson, OSU Library, leads discussion of “Meridian” by Alice Walker followed by refreshments and small group discussions. Information: Lynda Reynolds, 372-3633 x101.



Heart Walk Kick-off: March 12 - Hideaway Pizza - 6 p.m.



Meds Review: March 13 - Senior Center - 9 a.m. to noon. Pharmacy students will be on hand to conduct a medications review. Medication problems are the fifth leading cause of death for elderly. Space is limited so sign up soon. Information: 747-8080.



Seretean Wellness Center Cooking Class: March 13 - Seretean Wellness Center - 12-1 p.m. Fresh herbs are under used and under appreciated for most home cooks, but learning to work with fresh herbs opens up a world of unique flavor and health. Information: 744-WELL.
