Smith will perform Friday at annual Calf Fry blowout

STILLWATER, Okla. — After spending a few weeks on the road with Darius Rucker’s True Believers Tour, Corey Smith is bringing his own show to Stillwater, for Oklahoma’s 23rd Annual Calf Fry at Tumbleweed Dancehall.

“I love being on stage,” Smith said. “It’s certainly what it’s all about. You feel like you’re as big as the whole room because you can hear the audience, you can feel that they’re connecting.”

With a growing fan-base and hundreds of sold-out performances to date, Smith is making his mark on the country music scene. The singer-songwriter has logged more than 1,000 plus shows, sold more than 1 million tickets and brought Zac Brown Band, Brantley Gilbert and Florida Georgia Line along for the ride as openers. Smith has sold more than 1.8 million digital singles and 250,000 albums.

He has been recognized as one of country music’s hottest new artists by Country Weekly and Music Row Magazine and featured on the cover of Pollstar as a Hotstar Top Artist.

When not on the road touring, Smith is in the studio working on his ninth full-length album with producer Keith Stegall who has worked with the Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson.

Smith will join other artists at the outdoor show from Thursday through Saturday on stages outdoors and indoors at the corner of Lakeview and Country Club Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. each day. The full lineup includes:

Thursday: The Turnpike Troubadours, American Aquarium, Chris Knight, Mike and the Moonpies and Folk Family Revival;

Friday: Josh Abbott Band, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Corey Smith, Bart Crow and The Railers;

Saturday: Easton Corbin, Charlie Robison, Jaida Dreyer and Lower 40
