EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

 1. Director Cody Whittenburg has gathered a cast of 35, along with two dogs. Actors range from veteran performers such as Debbie Sutton in the role of the House Mom and Jack Hodgson as Professor Lowell with Carley Dickey starring as Elle Woods. Great characters power through all the pink with Renae Perry as Enid Hoops and John Lackey as Emmett Forrest. Elle’s mom and dad, played by Sharyl Pickens and Michael Morgan, are comically supportive in helping her get “what you want.”

 2. The play defines the number one reason for all hair decisions and why not to follow through with whimsical advice from Paulette Buonofuonte played by Heather Meyer. She said Elle Woods hit the “genetic lottery” and the show will make you want to dye your hair blonde.

 3. The musical caters to the present-day’s generation and culture with several peppy big song-and-dance numbers including moves such as the “bend and snap” with Tiara Young, Jessica Higgs, Merrill Sawyer and crew shaking it all out on the floor.

WHY ATTEND?

“It’s really fun – and it sends the message that being true to yourself never goes out of style,” said Klayton Valega who portrays the parcel delivery man, creating a special walk and poses with his own dramatic interpretation of the character Kyle.
