BREAKING NEWS: Races develop in Stillwater City Council election

STILLWATER, Okla. — Four people filed Wednesday — the final day to file for Stillwater City Council seats.

Council Seat 4 drew three candidates — Miguel Najera, businessman, James Gardner, businessman, and incumbent Cody Scott.

OSU student Jay Kuruvilla filed Wednesday for City Council Seat 3. He joins Pat Darlington in the campaign for Vice Mayor Chuck Hopkins’ seat. Hopkins couldn’t seek re-election because of term limits. Darlington filed Monday.

The primary election for Council Seat 4 is March 4. The general election is April 1.
