BREAKING NEWS: Stillwater Police arrest suspect in armed robberies

STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater Police arrested a 24-year old Stillwater man early Tuesday morning in connection with 11 armed robberies in Stillwater, Capt. Randy Dickerson said.

Jackson Pascal Rwezaula is in custody in the Stillwater jail.

Police officers executed a search warrant at an east Stillwater residence at approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday, Dickerson said. The police found enough evidence in the home to link Rwezaula to at least one of the armed robberies. Rwezaula was arrested at approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday.

Police expect to submit charges to Payne County prosecutors later today or Wednesday.

"The investigation is continuing," Dickerson said.
