OSU creates web page in response to SI stories
Oklahoma State University launches web page, response.okstate.edu, to address allegations in the Sports Illustrated series.
UPDATE VIDEO: Magazine's report on Oklahoma State football program starts at 8 a.m. Tuesday
Sports Illustrated will launch its five-part series, “The Dirty Game” at 9 a.m. Tuesday on SI.Com, according to a Sports Illustrated press release. The first story also is the magazine’s cover story. It will be on newstands and tablets Wednesday. The series continues Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at SI.com. It will wrapup on Tuesday online and Sept. 23 in the magazine.

The SI story will be just one more distraction to avoid, Gundy said Sunday.
International Olympics Committee reinstates wrestling to 2020 Games
The sport, which has ancient roots in the Olympics, easily defeated bids from baseball-softball and squash. It will now join the program of the 2020 Games, which were awarded to Tokyo on Saturday.

District Judge Lisa Davis on Monday granted a temporary restraining order preventing enforcement of the law, which was scheduled to go into effect on Thursday.
UPDATE: Former Stillwater Police Department officer waives right to preliminary hearing
Former Stillwater Police Department Sgt. Tom McConaghy is charged with larceny of a controlled dangerous substance. Special Judge R.L. Hert set bail at $5,000. McConaghy's district court arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 13 before District Judge Phillip Corley.
Prosecutor: Former Stillwater Police officer expected in court Friday.
McConaghy was charged July 8 with larcency of controlled dangerous substances. He has been in rehabitation in a Colorado drug treatment facility.
City Council approves $36 million in upgrades; Voters will have final say
The cost of the five-year plan is approximately $36 million, which will be funded through bond issues and a sales tax increase.
