Lambert Construction wins contractor award

STILLWATER, Okla. — Lambert Construction Co., recently received the “Build Oklahoma Award” for construction of Highland Park Elementary School at the 74th annual Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma awards banquet.

The Stillwater-based company received the award in the construction management category for projects totaling between $10-$25 million.

An independent panel of judges reviewed nominations and made their selections based upon strict criteria.  Highland Park Elementary School features five cast in place concrete storm shelters, and two outdoor learning courtyards secure for children’s safety. More than 490 tons of the project’s waste products were recycled. The project represents an estimated 149,000 man hours.
