STILLWATER, Okla. — Cushing Masonic Lodge No. 111 achieved 100 percent attendance and participation in the Masonic Charities Foundation of Oklahoma Partners in Prevention program for the 2009-10 school year.

The foundation, Oklahoma Masons and Prevent Blindness Oklahoma work together to provide free vision screenings to children and families of Oklahoma. The Masonic Charities Foundation provided $100,000 in support of the program last year, and 192 local lodges furnished volunteers to help with the screenings.

Prevent Blindness Oklahoma provides certified screeners who travel to more than 1,100 locations in all 77 counties to screen children in day care centers, preschools, Head Start Centers and public and private schools.
