Trailer stolen from OSU
STILLWATER, Okla. — A black tandem gooseneck equipment trailer was discovered missing from the OSU Field Research Department Sunday afternoon, OSU police Captain David Altman said Monday.
The trailer was last seen Friday afternoon at about 4:45 p.m. at an OSU field research center at 3424 W. Virginia St. near the intersection of Sangre Road and Virginia Street. The $5,000 Swinford brand trailer was about 25 feet long, Altman said.
Tire ruts seem to indicate that a dual-wheeled truck drove northbound on Sangre Road, pushed open a gate, hooked up to the trailer and then drove southbound on Sangre, Altman said.
Anyone with information on the trailer should call OSU police at (405) 744-6523.
