UPDATED: Father, son plead in throat slashing case
Aaron Ellis was sentenced Thursday to 40 years in prison on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently. Ellis, 24, and Howard Gashwazra, 41, both of Tryon, were accused of slitting Jason Leroy Wells’ throat at Lake McMurtry last September, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
