NEW: Defense rests in Oklahoma State athlete Darrell Williams' sex crime trial

STILLWATER, Okla. — The defense has rested in Oklahoma State athlete Darrell Williams' sexual assault trial.

Defense attorneys wrapped up their part of the trial shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday. District Judge Phillip Corley said court will not be in session Friday. He set closing arguments and jury instructions for Monday.

Williams is on trial on four counts of rape by instrumentation and one count of sexual assault.

During several days of testimony in the trial, prosecution witnesses included the two women Williams is accused of assaulting at a party. Among those testifying on Williams' behalf were Oklahoma State men's basketball coach Travis Ford and former player Keiton Page.
