The families of Maya Castille and Lee Caldwell announce their engagement.
Castille is the granddaughter of Fern Rowley and the late Dr. George Rowley of Edmond. She is the daughter of Gus and Valli Rallis, formerly of Edmond, now residing in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Caldwell is the son of Jan and Doug Kraft of McAlester and Jason Caldwell of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Both attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where they met. Castille attended Edmond North High School, graduated from OSU in December 2012 (B.A. English, Phi Beta Kappa), and is attending graduate school at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, where she anticipates receiving a master’s degree in publishing in September.
Caldwell graduated from Savanna High School in 2009 and is serving in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Reconnaissance Scout with the 173rd Airborne, stationed in Vicenza, Italy.
The couple is planning a private wedding in June 2014 in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, and will celebrate their marriage Dec. 21 in Oklahoma.
The couple will make their home in Vicenza, Italy.
