Jeree Youngker to wed Richard Gilman

Jeree Dawn Youngker and Richard Charles Gilman plan to marry March 15, 2014, at the Oklahoma Territorial Plaza in Perkins.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bill and Rea Dawn Poling of Stillwater and Lyle and Vickie Youngker of Perkins. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Helen Gilman of Silver Spring, Md., and Howard Gilman of Gaithersburg, Md.

The bride-elect graduated from Perkins-Tryon High School in Perkins and Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with a bachelor’s degree in English education. She is an English teacher at Stillwater High School.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md., Salisbury State College in Salisbury, Md., with a  bachelor’s in history, and Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, with a doctorate in American culture studies. He is an assistant professor at Tulsa Community College.
