Lindsey Merrideth VanDeventer will marry Kelsey George Peyton on June 29 at Hummingbird Hollow in Porterville, Calif.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rodney and Ann VanDeventer of Visalia, Calif. She is the granddaughter of Adaline VanDeventer and the late JC “Tex” VanDeventer, also of Visalia, and the late Collie and Mariel Sunderland of Strathmore, Calif. She is a 2001 graduate of Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, Calif. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinisiology from California State University Sacramento in 2005. She is employed by Mt. Whitney High School as the athletic trainer.
The groom-elect is the son of George Jr. and Tammie Peyton of Macon, Mo., and Chris and Shelly Jobe of Stillwater. He is the grandson of George Sr. and Janice Peyton, also of Missouri; Bill and Karen Spencer of Braman; Carl and Phyllis Jobe of Stillwater; and the late Steve and Shirley Keller of Ponca City. He is a 2003 graduate of Stillwater High School and served five years in the United States Navy. He attends Fresno Pacific University where he is studying business management and plans to graduate in December.
