STILLWATER, Okla. —
Jeanne Elizabeth Svendson, of Baton Rouge, La., and R Wade Campbell, of Stillwater, will marry in a 2 p.m. ceremony Nov. 15 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah, Ga.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mary and Wade Martin Svendson Sr., of Baton Rouge, La. She is the granddaughter of Suzanne Wilbert Turner, of Baton Rouge, La., the late Bert Silger Turner and the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglass Wallace Svendson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, La., and the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga. She is a philanthropist, photographer and will soon open a contemporary gallery “Galerie 124” in Savannah, Ga.
Her fiancé is the son of Elizabeth Newbold Campbell and Robert Wade Campbell of Stillwater. He is the grandson of LaVon Shubert Campbell of Etowah, N.C., the late Paul Blanchard Campbell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Levi Heard Newbold.
R is a graduate of Stillwater High School and the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga. He is a professor of industrial design at the Savannah College of Art and Design and the president and co-founder of Volta Collaborative, LLC.
An engagement party was held Jan. 11 in Baton Rouge, La., hosted by John Turner and Jerry Fischer.
