Kerry Snethen to wed David Royko

Kerry Snethen and David Royko, both of Bossier City, La., will wed Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. at The Dominion House in Guthrie.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donald and Cheryl Snethen, Stillwater.

The groom-to-be is the son of Allison Moores, San Antonio, Texas, and the late Bernie Royko.

Snethen graduated from Stillwater High School in 1994. She earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Oklahoma State University in 1999 and a master’s degree in environmental science from OSU in 2002.

She is an environmental scientist with C-K Associates LLC in Shreveport, La.

Royko attended Alice and Lake Travis high schools, graduated from the latter in 1990. He entered the U.S. Air Force in December 1990 and plans to retire from active duty in June 2012.

After retirement, he plans to pursue an engineering degree at Louisiana State University.
