Candice Hance to wed John Jaco

Candice Hance of Arlington, Texas and John Jaco of Stillwater will marry 6 p.m. April 13 at the Mansion at Judges’ Hill in Austin, Texas.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Regina Rasmussen of Arlington, Texas and Keith Hance of DeSoto, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Dora Oldaker of Akron, Ohio, Stanley Oldaker of Oceanside, Calif., Ava Hance of Canton, Ohio, and the late George Hance of Ocala, Fla.

The prospective groom is the son of William and Linda Jaco of Stillwater.  He is the grandson of Dortha and the late Joe Kanewske of Marble Falls, Texas, and the late William and Catherine Jaco of Grafton, W.Va.

Hance graduated from Rice University with degrees in political science and business management and is a 2008 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.  Prior to her recent move to Germany, she served as legislative counsel to a United States congressman and worked as an appellate litigator.

 Jaco graduated from Rice University with a degree in biochemistry and is a 2007 graduate of the University of Texas-Houston Medical School.  He currently serves as a captain in the United States Army and as a physician at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.

The couple will reside in Morlautern, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany.
