Shaw, Hurley set July wedding

Stillwater native Fauna Shaw and Sean Hurley, a native of Torrington, Conn., have announced plans to marry on July 14, 2012, at Clark University in Worcester, Mass.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Drs. Jim Shaw and Tracy Carter.

She is a 2002 Stillwater High School graduate. She attended Clark University, where she met her future husband.

At Clark she earned a master’s degree in community development and planning. She is finance director for the Vermont Democratic Party.

The groom-to-be is the son of Pam and Tim Hurley. He graduated from Torrington High School in 2002.

He has a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from Clark University.

He owns a software development company. They live in Burlington, Vt.
