Day care offered to parents for one night

STILLWATER, Okla. — Area parents will have the chance for a Valentine’s Day dinner for two this year.

Covenant Community School and Covenant Community Day Care is offering a joint day care service to the public from 5-10 p.m. Feb. 13 the Saturday night before the traditional holiday for love. The day care, which is open for all ages, will be held at Covenant Community Day Care, 724 W. 8th.

“It’s the first time we’ve done it for Valentine’s Day,” the School Office Manager Jamie Freeman said. “We’ve done this before for some other events such as our hope drive last year.”

The day care will cost $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. A pizza dinner will be provided along with drinks and snacks.

Freeman said residents interested in the five-hour day care should reserve their child’s spot by Feb. 8.

Residents can call the Covenant Community School at 405-707-7444 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday or the Covenant Community Day Care at 405-707-7334 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
