Yale looks to regroup after losing three straight

YALE — After losing their third straight game with a 41-14 decision at Kiefer, the Yale Bulldogs enter Friday’s game against Depew with a sense of urgency.

“We got some critical games ahead,” coach Craig Ellis said. “Hopefully we can come out of these next two games with wins.”

The Bulldogs (3-4, 1-3) host Depew at 7:30 p.m. Friday and then visit Hominy the following week to close out their district slate. Yale’s season finale is at Regent Prep. Ellis said his team needs to build on the positives from Thursday’s game and build on them.

“We drove the ball down the field and scored a couple of times on Kiefer,” Ellis said. “We came out of the game injury free.”
