Mulhall-Orlando sweeps Agra on the road

RED ROCK, Okla. — The Frontier Lady Mustangs fell to Tonkawa, 67-46 for the second time in a week.

The Lady Mustangs lost to Tonkawa in the championsip game of the Mike Kerr Classic in Morrison on Saturday. On Tuesday, Frontier (11-3) led by one after the first quarter, but lost the lead in the second. The Lady Mustangs were outscored 19-7. Frontier was unable to regain the lead in the third, being outscored 12-10. An 8-point gap in the fourth led to the loss for the Lady Mustangs.

Marissa Goodman led Frontier with 20 points. Thristian Young scored 9. Frontier will host Morrison at 7 p.m. Friday.

Girls

COYLE 55, OILTON 14

OILTON — The Coyle Lady Bluejacket played a strong defensive game in their defeat against Oilton.

Tyra Aska led offeensively with 20 points. Adonica Sumlin also added eight points for the Lady Bluejckets  and Akiliyah Sumlin scored 7. Coyle will travel to Agra at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

KINGFISHER 53, PERKINS-TRYON 50

KINGFISHER — The Lady Demons never gave up in their three-point loss to Kingfisher on the road.

Jeri Adkism was the high scorer for the Lady Demons with 29 points. Bailey Wensler also put up seven. P-T will host Okemah at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

BERRYHILL 55, CUSHING 29

BERRYHILL — The Lady Tigers lost on the road against Berryhill.  

Karlie Jones and Brooke Hightower each scored nine points for Cushing. Hannah Burris followed with six. Cushing plays Blackwell on the road at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

MORRISON 55, HENNESSEY 47

MORRISON — The Morrison Lady Wildcats defeated Hennessey in a back and forth game.

Jacey Bales led Morrison with 22 points. The Lady WIldcats will host Perry at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

RIPLEY 49, DAVENPORT 41

DAVENPORT — The Ripley Lady Warriors came back from Davenport with a victory.

Wisper Lefthand put 21 points on the scoreboard for the Lady Warriors, and Naomi Eslinger followed with 14. Ripley will play at 6:30 p.m. Friday against Oilton.

Boys

TONKAWA 60, FRONTIER 51


RED ROCK — Frontier came close but couldn’t pull out a victory against Tonkawa at home.

Tyler Armstong was the high scorer for the Mustangs with 26 points. Frontier will host Morrison at 8 p.m. Friday.

GLENCOE 85, OLIVE 36

OLIVE — Glencoe started out strong and came away with a victory against Olive to continue their winning streak.

Jake Lazenby led Glencoe offensively with 21 points, and Ty Lazenby followed closey with 19. Quentin Ash also scored nine.

Glencoe will host Shidler at 8 p.m. Friday.

MORRISON 70, HENNESSEY 67

MORRISON — The Morrison Wildcats won a close game against Hennessey at home.

Jordan Quinata led the Wildcats with 19 points. Kevin Freeman followed with 13. Ty Stout and Justin Bearry each added 11. The Wildcats face Perry at home in an area match up at 8 p.m. Thursday.

BERRYHILL 64, CUSHING 46

BERRYHILL — The Cushing Tigers lost on the road to Berryhill.

Drew Wilson was the eading scorer for Cushing qith 15 points. Trevor Brandle added nine and Jai Conley contributed eight.

RIPLEY 62,DAVENPORT 54

DAVENPORT — Ripley pulled away at the end for a victory against Davenport.

Garrett Gosney scored 27 points for the Warriors. Houston Twoguns followed with 17. Ripley will face Oilton on the road at 8 p.m. Friday.

COYLE 62,OILTON 30

OILTON — Coyle more than doubled Oilton’s score in their victory Tuesday night.

Ryan Weathers and Laine Noble led Coyle with 17 points each. The Bluejackets will travel to Agra at 8 p.m. Friday.
