Stillwater High girls soccer falls to Tulsa Union

TULSA, Okla. — Alyssa Bullock was nothing short of spectacular, but the Stillwater High School girls soccer team couldn’t come out with a win as the Lady Pioneers fell 2-0 at Tulsa Union.

The Lady Redskins outshot Stillwater 21-2 and had eight corner kicks, but Bullock was able to record 19 saves.

“That’s a really good score because not many teams have held them like that this season,” Stillwater assistant coach Alan Castleberry said. “It puts us in a much better position for districts in the case of a tiebreaker. We always worry about goal differential, but this helps because we didn’t allow them the full four points so we’re still in good shape.”

The Lady Pioneers will be back in action against Bixby at 6 p.m. Friday in Pioneer Stadium.
