Coach Rusty Atkins said he was proud of how his team competed despite the weather.
“Weather was very bad — cold, rain and windy,” Atkins said. “The kids fought very hard. I’m extremely proud of their efforts in less than desirable conditions. We qualified what we thought we would be able to. Fell short in a couple of areas, but cannot complain.”
