STILLWATER, Okla. —
Carvel and Shelly Spencer
To the editor:
We just drove across Burris Road, north of Stillwater, between Perkins and Washington on our way home. We noticed the county workers were patching the road ... AGAIN, the same way they have patched the road every two to three months.
Do you think, maybe, that there might be a better way to repair the potholes? Could there be a better fix than to patch the patches? Maybe if it had been put down the correct way to begin with it might not need the patch on the patch that covered the first patch. This is nothing against the county workers, they are hard workers. We are sure they are just doing the work that they are told to do, the way they are told to do it. What we need is someone with road building knowledge to fix it!
