OSU announces four candidates in provost and senior vice president search
STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State University has announced four finalists for provost and senior vice president. Each candidate will visit the campus within the next two months and a public forum will be held for each candidate. Dates and times of the forums have yet to be announced.
The finalists and their visitation times are Robert J. Sternberg, March 24-27; Cameron Hackney, March 30-April 2; Robert J. Marley, April 5-7; and Conrado M. “Bobby” Gempesaw, to be announced.
Sternberg is Tufts University's Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. He is also a professor of psychology and education at the private university.
Hackney is the dean of the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design at West Virginia University.
Marley is the Dean of the College of Engineering at Montana State University as well as the director of the engineering sxperiment station.
Gempesaw is the University of Delaware’s Dean of the Lerner College of Business and Economics.
Marlene Strathe presently holds the position. She has held the position since July 2003 and will step down effective June 30. She will remain an OSU faculty member.

Cook and Horton are also members of the alumni association. Cook recalls memoriesattending high school when she and many others hung out at the Panther Den, a small restaurant that no longer exists. Both women have pleasant memories of Glencoe.
