Oklahoma State Postal Plaza Gallery slated to ‘Share a Journey’

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Oklahoma State Postal Plaza Gallery will open Jan. 13 with a new exhibit, “Sharing a Journey.”

Oklahoma State purchased Stillwater’s former downtown post office and converted it into an art gallery. It is on the corner of West 8th Street and South Husband Street.

According to the Oklahoma State University website, the Postal Plaza is a new place for teaching OSU students about art while providing the public an opportunity to engage with the visual arts.

Director Victoria Berry said “Sharing a Journey” tells the story of how the art collection was accumulated.

“It’s a sampling,” Berry said. “Over seven continents are represented in our collection.”

Admission to the Postal Plaza will be free. “Sharing a Journey” will be on display from Jan. 13 to May 24.
