STILLWATER, Okla. — An afternoon of classic cars, trucks and motorcycles is coming to Stillwater Friday and Saturday.

The Sixth Annual Downtown Stillwater Car and Bike Show will feature two days of events.

New to this year’s event is the cruise-in from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday when vehicles will travel up and down Main Street.

Coordinator Amy Jo Frazier said there will also be live music from the Jake Moffat Band at West Eighth Avenue and Main Street at 7 p.m.

“In the event that we have rain or bad weather, we’ll move the music into Brooklyns,” she said.

The car show will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Registration to participate is $15 before the day of the show and $20 the day of the show.

“There are a lot of awards and we have a lot of door prizes to give away,” Frazier said.

50/50 tickets will be sold, with proceeds benefitting the Scott A. Hagerty Scholarship Fund for Army ROTC students.

Registration for those entering the day of the show begins at 8 a.m.

“We’re hoping to have over 150 participants,” she said. “We’ve had good pre-registration and the phones have been ringing off the hook this week,” she said.
