Restaurant seeking donations for Ripley schools

STILLWATER, Okla. — A Stillwater restaurant is seeking donations of school supplies to fill 250 backpacks that will be given to Ripley public school students.

Sirloin Stockade manager Steven Blaylock said the restaurant, 208 N. Perkins Road, received a donation of backpacks for Ripley students. It is now seeking pens, pencils, paper, Crayons, spiral notebooks, folders and other supplies to put in the backpacks and get Ripley students off to a good start this fall.

School supplies may be dropped off at the restaurant during business hours — 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
