Stillwater’s nayor and City Council, Payne County commissioners, the Stillwater Board of Education and Stillwater city staff also have been invited to attend, said Lynda Reynolds, library director.
Reynolds said the reception will be come and go, but residents will have the chance to submit written questions which will be read to the legislators by a representative of the league.
“It’s beneficial for people in the community to meet with elected officials and be aware of what’s going on, Reynolds said. “People don’t get to go to the capital.”
