STILLWATER, Okla. — A man accused of stomping his friend to death appeared in court from the Payne County jail Monday morning.
Christopher Dawes, 26, is accused of killing 32-year-old Jeremy Sutherland when he caught him kissing his girlfriend.
Dawes appeared in court with the sides of his head shaved. Judge Katherine Thomas set preliminary hearing for Jan. 30 when the medical examiner's report for Sutherland would be available.
