December sales tax distributions steady in Stillwater

STILLWATER, Okla. — Stillwater collected $2.47 million in sales taxes, according to the December report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

The December distribution of sales tax collections represents local tax receipts from October business. The state disbursed $130.9 million to 511 cities and towns, reflecting a $2.61 million increase from the $128.2 million distributed in December 2012.

In county returns, 76 counties shared $28.8 million.
