STILLWATER, Okla. —
The Stillwater Board of Education will meet in special session at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Administration Building, 314 S. Lewis. The board will have its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are open to the public.
The school district is in the process of crafting a long-range plan for Stillwater schools. To assist in that effort, the district has invited teachers, parents and community members to get involved on three new advisory panels, including curriculum and technology, facilities and finance.
The district also posted an online survey on its website seeking feedback from the community and to open lines of communication with school officials.
Community members who have questions for the board can submit questions at least 10 days prior to the next board meeting.
The board answered several questions submitted by the public during May’s board meeting.
One question concerned how the public can gain access to board information packets prior to meetings. Board president John Price said he saw no reason why those packets could not be posted online in a timely manner before meetings.
