PHOTOS: Hundreds attend Oklahoma State University International Bazaar

STILLWATER, Okla. — At least 400 Stillwater residents and Oklahoma State University students attended Saturday's OSU International Bazaar, which was held at the Stillwater Community Center for the first time.

Abhishek Pathak, member of OSU's International Studnet Organization, said previously that the group wanted to bring the event to the city's residents rather than having them come to campus.

“We want to get closer to the Stillwater community because ... the Stillwater Community has always been supporting us,” Pathak said.

The move appeared to pay off, as the number of people who attended year's event exceeded expectations. Pathak said 300 to 350 people normally attend the International Bazaar, a number ISO organizers easily exceeded this year.

“I love the high energy stuff,” he said. “Even though it’s country, being able to rock it up, distorted guitars and just seeing the crowd, feeding off of that.”
