Woman hit with charge of harboring a fugitive

STILLWATER, Okla. — A Burns Flat woman has been charged with harboring and concealing a known felon from justice.

Court records allege Danielle Nicole Aubrey, 28, misled police when they came to serve three outstanding warrants for Jonathan Beason for various drug charges.

According to an affidavit by Payne County deputies, officers went to a Stillwater residence on South Husband Street. They believed Beason was staying in the garage.

Aubrey advised the officers that Beason did not live there and she had not seen him for several days as they were fighting.

Officers spotted a car Beason is known to drive and Aubrey told officers it was her car and not Beason’s because he does not have a driver’s license.

Deputies searched the home and found Beason in a locked bathroom. He was placed under arrest. Aubrey had left the scene soon as soon as the bathroom door was opened, officers said.

The crime is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 fine.
