STILLWATER, Okla. —
The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will host a free open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The public can see what future veterinarians are learning, tour the facilities and examine the technology used to treat pets and other animals. There will also be various exhibits and live animal demonstrations.
Live and silent auctions will be hosted by the center’s Avian, Exotic and Zoo Medicine Service. Proceeds will help fund medical and surgical care of Stillwater-area wildlife.
Children are encouraged to bring a torn stuffed animal for mending during the teddy bear surgery session. It is recommended parents make appointments for the session by calling (405) 744-6961.
The center is located on Farm Road between Western Road and McFarland Street.
