No one injured in Stillwater mobile home fire

STILLWATER, Okla. —  No one was hurt in a fire that broke out at a mobile home at 2912 E. Raintree Thursday afternoon.

Stillwater Fire Department Capt. Scott Lowery responded to the fire.

He said the fire started in the kitchen but residents were not cooking at the time.

“No one was hurt and the fire was quickly extinguished,” he said.

The home sustained minimal damage to the kitchen and living room. No clothes or furniture were damaged, except for a few kitchen utensils. Nor were any pets harmed. Firefighters were able to rescue a dog and cat from the residence.

The fire was constrained mostly to the stove, cabinets and rooftop, Lowery said.

Deputy Fire Marshal Neal Moore is investigating the cause of the fire.
