STILLWATER, Okla. — A psychological thriller shot in Payne County will have a free screening at the Oklahoma State University Student Union 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Student Union Activities Board will host “Left of Center”, which began production in Stillwater and surrounding areas in February 2011. It recently debuted at the Dead Center Film Festival June 8 in Oklahoma City.

The movie follows a local police chief’s investigation into a series of murders along State Highway 177. The film was shot on a budget of approximately $16,000, said Director David Norman. The story itself was written by Glencoe native Brandi Jenkins and featured a majority of talent from Oklahoma.
