Lincoln County area evacuated due to wildfire

Lincoln County Emergency Management has ordered evacuation of Lincoln County residents whose property is threatened by a wildfire near Highway 99.
A wildfire was burning out of control between Highway 99 and County Road 3550. Residents in that area and in the area of County Road 750 south to County Road 790 were told to evacuate immediately.

Lincoln County Emergency Management said people in that area should evacuate toward the south on Highwway 99 to Stroud. A shelter has been established at the Stroud Community Center.
