Three injured in acid spill

STILLWATER, Okla. — Three people were injured Friday morning  when   hydrochloric acid spilled at an oil site at Airport Road and State Highway 108.

They were taken to Stillwater Medical Center by ambulance.

Sheriff's Capt. Kevin Woodward said there have been no evacuations of the surrounding area.

The incident occurred at a site operated by Consolidated Oilwell Services LLC, Payne County Sheriff's Department officials said.

"We do not have enough information at this time to make a comment," said a representative from Consolidated.

Woodward said Consolidated would be handling the cleanup of the spill.
